Our Founder
A Dream Born in Haiti
Growing up in Haiti, our founder witnessed first-hand the persistent poverty and the slow deterioration of her country's health. Deeply moved, she aspired to become a healthcare professional — a path that brought her family to Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Through studies in community health and a Master of Public Health degree from Walden University, alongside training in Biblical Community Development, the vision of returning to Haiti with a clinic for those in need was affirmed again and again.
Together with her husband Dony — whose background in Agronomy and Veterinary Science proved invaluable — the site of their clinic was chosen when a patient described her remote community as having no care whatsoever. That story became a calling.
"…and I gave this deed to Baruch son of Neriah, in the presence of witnesses."
